Contest 13: Andy’s Pure Michigan Summer

I’m a huge fan of one-stop shopping. I personally like to have all the info I need all on one page, layered so that it can all be accessed without overwhelming the user. So I grouped all the information here and hid them behind Hide/Show actions. It’s simple, but I think it’s effective.
On a personal note, I could have spent a year building this course. I really could have packed in tons of information, way more cities, etc. I had to cap myself, but I hope you enjoy what I did include.

Great entry! I’ve been everywhere but Covert (and I’m originally from Michigan!) so I’ll have to add that one to my list. I’d also suggest Ludington, Houghton Lake, Manistee, and Tawas. Some of my favourite spots to fish, boat, camp, swim, and just enjoy the city.

I have been all over the place. The UP is largely unexplored, but there are few places I haven’t been in the LP. I could literally cover the mitten with clickables. 😉

Here’s a curiosity: is there any way to add Contest entries to user portfolios? I don’t know about anyone else, but it would be nice to be able to showcase all the work we are uploading – without taking up unnecessary space on Trivantis’ servers.

Agreed – great piece. Like Jennifer, I may be biased as I am also from Michigan (Jackson).

      Thanks!
I’m from Jackson also! Currently living up in Lansing, but looking for a house in the Jackson area so I can move closer to family again.

Interesting. Shoot me an e-mail sometime (cory.lammers@gmail.com) – I’ve got a question or two for you.
