Contest19: “Building” courses

I’m back… I’ve missed a few contests, and I was starting to feel left out, but this one was right up my alley.

I LOVE thematics. I try to work them into everything I do, even if it’s just a simple color scheme that works throughout the course. But I like making the theme deeper than that. I like buttons and tools to match.

So I put this together – a construction theme. Toolboxes, and hard hats, and construction yellow(oh my!).

There are only a couple pages as you go through, but I wanted to showcase the features more than control the possibility. There’s still quite a bit that could be expanded upon here to roll into the theme.

Anyway, get your hard hats on and enjoy!

Agree with Jack on the tape measure. I helped build the PPE course that’s on the Trivantis website and the most clever idea I could come up with was a hammer status indicator lol

Thanks! It’s definitely not the easiest element to incorporate, but when it works, it works! 🙂

I like the way you are able to repurpose common items into eLearning elements, creates a very appealing and cohesive theme. Thanks for sharing!

Thank you! I’m glad people are responding well to this. Sometimes, you just don’t know if your design choices are good, or if you’re too close to a project and your decisions won’t be well received by your audience.
