Our Learning and Development team went live with curriculum notifications today. Does anyone know how to specify who those emails come from? For some reason, the auto-generated emails are coming from my email address, even though the instructor for all of the courses within the curriculum is someone else. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks a ton!
Another thought: Under Managing Curriculums in the supplemental guide, http://trivantis.com/help/CourseMill/7.3/en/SuppGuide/index.html#CM73_ManagingCurriculms.html, it states under notifications, “If turned on, four of the six notifications are sent immediately upon the corresponding action. For example, when a student is enrolled in a curriculum (either by the Instructor/Administrator, by self-enrolling, or by Auto Assignment – for current users or future users matching the enrollment rules) the corresponding notification is sent immediately.”, so if you batch enrolled these students into the curriculum with your own global admin id, those emails will be coming from your email versus if they were assigned because of a sub org assignment.
Thank you! For some reason our version of CourseMill does not have the EmailFrom properties, not even our Super Admin has it as an option. Great idea though! We are stumped on this one as I was in the global admin account that has our group email rather than my person email. We are saying it’s an early April Fools. 🙂
