Hi Jennifer —
I am not sure where I can find this info…. I want to force lectora to check and make sure that all popups on the page have been opened (and closed) before moving on to the next page. Any ideas on how I can control this?

Natively within the program, you could use a variable to capture if the learner clicked on each pop-up. Then cross reference that value with the next button.
On Mouse Click
Go to Next Page
If Variable is equal to “total number of clicks”
I’ve also seen people take advantage of Status Tracking from within the system.August 4, 2017 at 9:51 am #366915
I just signed up.
Why is it so difficult to edit a post?
When I hit edit I have all these mandatory fields that need to be filled in.
I’m sure I’m missing something – makes no sense.

@swener5774 Welcome and thanks for joining! What are you trying to edit? A forum post? When you edit a post you should only have to edit the text as needed.August 11, 2017 at 12:05 pm #367553
Hi, I haven’t visited the community in a very long time….even had to go into my notes to remember my log in. But I’m glad to be back. I have a quick question regarding Lectora Publisher 17. I just upgraded from 16 and uploaded a module I built in 2014 which went fine. The issue I’m having is when I view it in Run mode I get a blank page. I even tried to publish to Reviewlink, which worked fine, but when I launch the module, I get a blank page. Anyone experience this before and have a quick fix?
Thanks in advance for the assit!

Welcome back @laseducator ! Glad to have you 🙂 Do you have any special scripts in your course? If so I would suggest turning off seamless play. That can cause blank screens.September 5, 2017 at 6:26 pm #370052
Good morning all!
So I’m Karyn, I’m in Melbourne, and I’m our newly minted courseware developer at HPV. We’ve been working with a partner who is awesome and I’m now getting my “wings” in lectora myself.
So far it’s all pretty logical, which is way cool. This morning I discovered the shared content which may have made me squeal with happiness.
But! Basic newbie question…. if I delete a slide in a chapter, and it’s the last slide in the chapter, do I need to update anything? There is a button in the next chapter which refers to “last slide” in the previous chapter, but I sort of break it when I delete this extraneous slide. ….

Welcome @kpeverill3403 ! We’re glad to have you here 🙂 If you delete the page you may run the risk of making any actions that point to the page (typically navigation but could be more complex) end up being “empty”. This essentially means the action’s target is no longer filled out and can cause errors when you run and publish the course. The easiest way to troubleshoot is to run the error checker. It’ll let you know what actions have empty targets along with a variety of other errors and warnings your course may be experiencing. I’ll point you to some help documentation below. Feel free to reach out to me with any questions you have about the community or Trivantis in general.September 18, 2017 at 9:42 am #371242
My name is Andy. I am a semi new developer. I started using Lectora in 2012 and took a two year leave (moved to a different job) only to come back to my old job. I’m sure I’ll have LOTS of questions.
