In a recent blog post we wrote, Creating an eLearning Portfolio Using Your Community Content, we explained four ways to place your Trivantis Community content onto your portfolio or online profiles. We took a look at LinkedIn, posting to a website or blog, sharing it on social media, and using your Community profile as a way of introducing yourself to others. For an instructional designer or course developer, what better working example to include than a resume created in Lectora?
So this month’s challenge is to create your resume in Lectora, making it interactive and showing off your Lectora development skills. Here are some inspiring ways to share content:
- Use an animated progress bar to show your skill level in key areas. http://trivantis.com/blog/community/creating-elearning-portfolio-using-community-content/
- Use a 2016 graphic design trend to show off your design and development skills in one. http://community.trivantis.com/contest/circles-circles-everywhere/
- Make learning about yourself into an interactive quest. http://community.trivantis.com/contest/responsive-quizgame-gustavs-trip/
- Optimize your portfolio by making the courses in it responsive.
To participate, upload your content on the Share New Contest page. Get the most views, and you’ll be the winner! Each winner will be announced once the entry period has closed. Then you’ll have bragging rights and a recognized example of awesomeness. And of course, you can share your magnificent entry on social media.
Don’t forget to check out other people’s submissions on the Contest page.
PS – At your request we’ve extended the deadline. Each contest now lasts a month. This way you’ll have enough time to participate. Contest 11 entries will be due by 7/18/16.
