When you contact Trivantis Support you may need to send a copy of your course for troubleshooting. Lectora includes the option to export all of your source files and resources into a single .ZIP file.
The Contact Support form has a file size limit of 20MB. If your Lectora title is 20MB or less you can attach it directly to your support request on this form: http://lectora.com/contact-support/.
If your exported course is larger than that you can use our large file upload to send your files instead. Please visit http://trivantis.com/support-upload, provide your email, name, company, and your Support Case # if you have one. Click “Choose File” to choose your exported Lectora title to upload:
When the upload is successful you will see the message:
Form field : upload file Uploaded file : [your file name here] (your file size) Content Type : application/x-zip-compressed
Our large file upload does have a maximum file size limit of 2GB. If you exported Lectora title is larger than that please contact Trivantis Support for an alternative upload.
Lectora titles are made up of many files and folders. The main .AWT file contains the structure and function of the course. But all of the images, documents, and other resources are stored separately in their own folders. So for someone else to open a copy of your Lectora title, they need to have all of the files in the correct locations.
To Export a Lectora Title to a .ZIP File:
- With your title open in Lectora, go to File > Export > Zip:
- When the save box pops-up, select your desktop or another location and save the zipped file.
- After sharing the .ZIP file with another Lectora user, they can extract it to a folder and open the Lectora Title.
