Contest 18: Memory Match Game

This is a Memory Match game, designed to provide a little fun while learning…well, just about anything. In this game, you have 10 word pairs which can be for example, homonyms, words with a definition, words with its foreign language counterpart, etc. This game uses an external file to store its word pairs, so you can simply swap out the contents of this file and have a new game. There are two board setups which are randomly selected each time you start a new game. This is responsive, but is best viewed using desktop or tablet views.

Enjoy!

Looks good…I’ll have to download the files when I get home since I cannot download from the site here at work. I’d like to see how you did the external file to store your word pairs (I’ve been working a match game like this and always interested in seeing how others get to the same results).
    Excellent! Thanks!

This is awesome. I tried my hand at building a matching game a year or so ago and found I was in a bit over my head. Glad someone was able to tackle something like this. Congrats!
