In response to Contest 13: An eLearning Guide to Summer Fun I created a travel guide for all the places I want to visit in London (and the surrounding areas). As you’ll see on the “Why London?” page this trip has been a dream of mine since 1996. (Please don’t judge me on the dorkiness!) I included a timeline, variables, web window showing google maps, link, images and information for the things I want to see, eat, and shop. If I missed anything that you think I should include please be sure to leave a comment.

Platform 9 3/4 at King’s Cross!
Yes! I feel like the Warner Bro’s attraction has taken that off quite a few people’s lists since there’s a picture opportunity where you can push your cart into a wall that’s labeled 9 3/4’s.
like the web windows pointing to Google maps Wish I’d thought of that for my contribution.
Another place to visit could be Alexandra Palace in North London. It’s a bit further out but has spectacular views across London – and was were the first TV broadcasts were made.
Good to know! I forget about web windows all the time. They’re handy for including a lot of content like Google Maps or company websites and intranet content!
Seriously thought out! I like that we can track your own media history with London before we get in-depth with everything.
On an aside, if you haven’t seen Spaced (BBC series with Simon Pegg and Nick Frost) I cannot recommend it enough.
Thanks Andy! I’ll have to DVR it and check it out 🙂
