Great question Tomas! Our Lectora Online version includes cloud-based permissions and sharing opportunities as well as some built-in features for project management. Lectora Online also does come with a monthly subscription based pricing option. You can review the “collaboration” features in more detail by watching this playlist:
Lectora Online also gives you access to an online image editor, eLearning Brothers, and BranchTrack. Check out the links below.
Lectora Inspire gives you the added benefit of Snagit and Camtasia (along with eLearning Brothers and BranchTrack). So you will have enhanced capabilities when it comes to image editing and creation, video editing and creation, resources to place into your course like templates, cut out people, and games, along with the ability to create and insert scenarios. I’ll link you below to articles about each tool:
As far as functionality goes (Insert Ribbon and Test & Survey Ribbon especially) the products are pretty close in comparison. Both have Responsive Course Design (RCD), Section 508 and WCAG 2.0 compliance features, and the common abilities you’d expect in an authoring tool; text, image, audio, video, interactivity, and testing. With each new release, we ensure that the two products are closely matched or when one receives functionality the other one follows shortly afterwards (for example Responsive Course Design (RCD) was introduced to LO users and desktop users a month later).
