    Hello!

I am new to Lectora Online but have been reading up and experimenting. I am interested in adding my own audio recording straight into my course. I see some help articles online, but I do not have the same options to choose “audio recording” from the drop down. My options stop at “text to speech.” Is this only available in the desktop version and not within Lectora Online?

    Thanks!

    Hello Jonathan,

Thank you for utilizing the community, I’m sure you are not the only one that has asked it but allow me to shed some light, No. you can not record audio directly into Lectora Online (as in your personal voice), if you would like to use your own voice in your Title you should look into a program called Audacity https://www.audacityteam.org/ pretty lightweight, easy to learn and best of all its free. Download it record your audio and import them into Lectora Online and your off and running.

Our full suites, Lectora Publisher and Inspire both have the audio recording feature integrated within, and all three Inspire, Publisher and Online have the Text To Speach.

    Hope this helps,

    -N
