Thank you for the great audio player, and also thank you for the great presentation you gave on Flash and Lectora at the User’s Conference! I’m trying to add some functionality to your player and would greatly appreciate some help. What I’d like to do is allow the user to start or stop the player using a menu object within Lectora. I’ve attempted this by using a Flash Command that targets Mp3Controls with a Set Variable command. I’ve attempted to set the value for the “stopMe” variable within the FLA file to “true” in the Action Properties within Lectora. This doesn’t seem to pause or stop the player. The theory here is that when the user selects “off” in the audio menu, the player would pause. I’d also like the player to continue if the user selects “on” within the menu. Can you tell me what I’m doing wrong or point me in the right direction? Thank you.
