When I try to publish as an .EXE from Inspire 12, I get the error message, “Error reading single file image stub program” and the publishing stops. Any ideas what I can do to successfully publish this?

    How large is your course?

We do have this logged as a bug with another customer. For this other customer it is only a problem on his courses that are very, very large.

I just confirmed with our developers that there will be a fix for this in Lectora v12.1.1. But I’d still like to find out how large your course is so we can be sure it’s caused by the same bug.

This course is approximately 800MB. It’s made up of 30 or so videos.

A possible workaround would be to include placeholder videos in your course that weigh much less than the original videos, publish it, then replace the placeholder files with actual videos in the exported folder.

It sounds like your bug was the same one just addressed in v12.1.1. Please let us know if updating to v12.1.1 resolves the error message for you on these large courses.

Still not used to this new forum…just saw this thread.  I am still receiving this error with the 12.1.1 patch…see my separate comment, which contains an attachment with a screenshot of the error (I attached it here as well).

I took Sergey’s advice and created a placeholder video file and a placeholder audio file for all of the locations within the course (to reduce file size) – and I still get the error.

    Help!!!

Still waiting for permission to install patch from gov’t IT people. 🙂

But, glad that this was hopefully addressed in this update. I’ll let y’all know once I get the upgrade installed.

Can you click the “Submit a support ticket” button on the top right of this page or email support@trivantis.com? We’d like to get a copy of your course and have it tested with our developers. Don’t worry about attaching the course with the form or email, we can setup a way to transfer it once we get a case started for you 🙂

How do I clear “error creating single image” on my project that is less than 40mb?

Hi @fashi2812, which version of Lectora are you using?
