Maybe I should post this in the LMS forum but it seems much quieter than this one and I have already posted a related question there. And of course, I know this one well 🙂
Has anyone got any advice about using the Learndash WordPress LMS plugin (and related plugins) with Lectora? In particular, I want to send it scores or SCORM information to store in a gradebook or other place that may be available e.g. completion status or scores. I know it has a Tincan plugin etc. but tincan needs an LRS and I would like to avoid that.
No answer received but I dod ask Learndash and the Tincanny plugin makers for learndash and neither group has any plan to support Lectora. They are supporting Articulate and Captivate and something else (cannot remember – sorry).
On a jobboard i came across someone asking for programmers to work on plugins for WordPress with Learndash. Reading the description they already had quite a lot experience with it and quite some functionality running. Name of the company wasnot disclosed but it was settled in Austin, Texas USA.
If anyone experiences a problem with running Lectora published content on LearnDash LMS please contact firstname.lastname@example.org and reference this community thread. We are keen to ensure that Lectora works on any LMS / LRS platform.
Our content is strict SCORM compliant with our v18.2.1 release and in Lectora Online. This was a problem in the past with reporting interactions to SumTotal and maybe other LMS systems. Other LMS systems like Scorm Cloud, Saba, Cornerstone, Blackboard, CourseMill, etc, etc. have always worked well.
We have been around for 20+ years and have working relationships with all the significant LMS vendors. So if you have any issue please report it to our support team.
