Hi all! I’m evaluating Lectora Online and I’m new to eLearning authoring tools (though I have background in video/ audio editing and design).

Running into a blocker where my action trigger of a mouse-click does not advance to the next page as I’ve set it up. It does highlight the page on-click in the Title Explorer, but it seems to be waiting for the audio (just background music) to end, as there is a delay of a few seconds when the mouse click happens. I’ve also added an action to stop the audio from playing but can’t seem to resolve the issue. Can anyone help?

    Hi Susan,

I would like to see this, can you tell me the name of the title where you are seeing the problem?

    Thanks,

    – Joe

Hi Joe – thanks for quick response.

The title is “test2” — I guess you can see in my account?

    Your help is appreciated.

Hi Susan, yes I am able to see your account.

It seems to work for me, however, there is a transition out on the “Arrow Down” object that has a 5 second delay before starting to transition out.  So it may look like it’s not switching but it’s “waiting” to transition out that object and then switch the page.

If you run into issues like this you can go to the “View” ribbon and run your title in Debug mode.  It will pop up a window to show what events and actions are running in your title.

    Hope this helps.

Ah, got it! That little out-transition slipped in there some how. 😉  Thanks!
