Excuse me if this has been addressed in the forums but I didn’t see it.

I am very new to Lectora and I am wondering if there is a way to move a single item (image, text block, etc.) in a group on the page without moving the entire group?

Or do I have to ungroup the item, move it and the regroup the item?

    Thanks

Just hold the Alt key down.

Recommend you get Lectora books from Amazon. Several out there. Also start watching saved tutorials on Lectora U under the Support on the Lectora website.

If I were working on Lectora, I’d add an automatic tip that pops up each time a grouped object is moved: “Did you want to move a single object, not the whole group? Press Alt while dragging!”

That would be nice as long as I could turn it off permanently. Those of us who have learned, don’t need to be bothered with it over and over again.

Thanks. I knew there was a really easy way to do this, I just couldn’t remember.
