    It seems that the file selector for PowerPoint import only accepts PPS and PPT files (the old PowerPoint files) and not PPTX / PPSX, which is weird.

    It says in the description that it should (left circle) but I cannot choose a different file type in the dropdown (right circle) so Windows doesn’t let me select a PPTX file.

    Do you have a version of PowerPoint Installed that uses .PPTX files? It does show the .PPTX extension in my install.

    On that particular machine, I don’t have any version of PowerPoint. Do I have to have a certain version of PowerPoint installed for the presentation import to work?

    @Lea Thompson

    Hi Sergey,

    I have confirmation from John Blackmon that the options for PowerPoint inside Lectora will change with what you have installed. If you don’t have PowerPoint installed at all, you will not be able to import any PowerPoint files no matter which extension they use.

    I’ll add this to the list of things I need to write-up for the Knowledge Base.
