When i use an image in desktopview at a specific size..

then go to the mobile view..

noticing it scaled down quite small…so i am changing that..

making it bigger… but then due to other ratios…the cutout aint ok….

so i crop the image in mobile view…

Ok..now i got a nice part of my image showing in mobile view…

    ———————————————

Fine so far, but now the horror shows…
when going back to my desktop view i notice the ‘cropping’ also happened to my original photo there…
and to make it even worse…it distorts my image…

    ———————————————

    Wishlist:

Make it so i can crop an image in a view so it wont change/distort the image in any other view

    Thx…

As a workaround for this i used css clip, checked which view i am at, and then with javascript change the css clip as needed. Would be great if this could be done without this workaround…

    Hi,

<span style=”color: #333333; font-family: ‘Georgia’,’serif’;”>I would like to see this feature as well. Is there any way to adjust the height to “auto” and width to 100% and vice versa based on the developer’s needs? I tried using separate images for each breakpoint and there’s a noticeable transition from breakpoint to breakpoint. Is CSS and JS my only option at this point?</span>
