    Hello,

I was curious if anyone knows how to get a web window to display a search bar. In a browser window, you can click CTRL+F to open a search bar and search the contents of the page. Is there anyway to do this in Lectora’s web window function?

In my lesson, a learner must open a webpage (web window) and then search a list. How can I get a functioning search bar, or do I need to take another approach? I tried using an HTML extension insert and it got me to the page, but I still couldn’t open a search bar.

Any help or advice is appreciated,

    Robert

    Hi Robert,

Glad you got things figured out. For others who want to do the same thing, attached is the code to open the new browser window. You can then search this window without searching everything else in the LMS’s browser window.
