Do you remember those dreaded words from school? Those words were always followed by mournful sighs. But for this contest, you get to be the one handing out the quiz.
In honor of the back to school season, we’re challenging you to create an eLearning module for a fictitious course using Lectora. It can be about any subject you want to teach—but it must contain an assessment with at least 3 questions. Use any of Lectora’s 12 different question types—including matching, hot spots, and ranking.
Here are some ideas:
- Lab safety for budding mad scientists with a knowledge check to ensure they’re not about to create another Frankenstein
- History course on wizarding prime ministers with a drag and drop timeline at the end where learners put the officials into chronological order of when they were in office
- Agricultural course for the first wave of settlers to the moon with questions about what types of plants to grow for food in space
- Etiquette course where you have to match each fork with the correct food it’s used for
In case the fun of building something in Lectora wasn’t enough incentive to participate, we’ll be handing out special badges to contest participants and winners. So go build something—I can’t wait to see what you create for this contest! And I’d like to congratulate the winner of last month’s contest, @alockwood6897. Check out his winning course here.
Don’t forget! The contest ends on October 14th so be sure to submit all your entires by then.
