@tea – Is there anyway to get an estimate on the non-seamless full screen bug with iOS? It’s important to my customer that we distribute their video-based courses in early-mid August. They’d rather not move to an external media player because of the short time frame to research, implement, test, and support a new feature.
The only option I see in the short-term is to revert my v18.2.3 back to v18.1.4 and reproduce these courses. Again, double work on a project that should be done and delivered.
@tea – Can you provide an update on the bug fix for full screen using non-seamless on iOS? I’ve been holding off on publishing my customer’s production courses for months now. They’ve been very patient, but <span style=”text-decoration: underline;”>really</span> need to get these video-based courses out.
Thanks for the quick reply Andy! The courses in question were published with 16.2.2, but I could certainly test 17.0.3 to see if that increases the IE success rate.
I’m in the process of normal troubleshooting (frequency of issue, browser config, direct access vs. citrix…etc) Ultimately, it sounds like it may come down to a Citrix compatibility issue. If IE and Citrix don’t play well together, there may not be much for us on to affect on the content development side.
I’ll update the thread with any “ah ha” moments. Thanks again!
I’ve used a wide variety of compression tools to unzip and rezip Lectora SCORM packages. While I can’t say if I’ve ever used that <span style=”text-decoration: underline;”>specific</span> combination (Windows Compression + CSOD), I’ve never experienced any issues with a file not being successfully uploaded, decompressed, and imported based on tool and LMS. A number of my clients use CSOD, and I’ve had no issues…even bouncing between compression levels, the LMS all seem to handle it well.
Good evening all. I’ve been using Lectora for…well, let’s just say I have all the lunch boxes! I’ve enjoyed learning from and assisting fellow developers through all the iterations of the Lectora Developer Forums and Communities. Looking forward to staying in touch!
