Biographical Info

A passion for helping others, specifically by using her design and photography skills, has flowed through Jennifer Mohr’s veins since a young age.  After becoming co-editor of her high school yearbook, Mohr knew exactly what she wanted to focus on after school…graphic design.
Mohr attended Franklin College, where she was a photographer and multimedia member for the college newspaper, as well as editor of the literary magazine.  Her mission was to help others, which led to Mohr tutoring media design students, and helping to spread awareness of domestic violence through campus events with fellow sociology classmates.  In 2010, Mohr made the Dean’s List and was the recipient of the “Award of Excellence in Digital Fine Art Photography”.  She graduated from Franklin College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism/Visual Communications, as well as a minor in Sociology.
After college, Mohr joined Elwood Staffing, one of the top 20 largest staffing companies in the United States. While working at the corporate office, Mohr earned the designation of Certified Staffing Professional (CSP) in 2011. This rigorous online program focused on employment and labor law at both the federal and state levels. Elwood Staffing is known for having more trained CSPs than any other company in the world!
During her career at Elwood Staffing, Mohr created many firsts for the company, including assisting in the implementation of the company’s first Learning Management System. When she joined the company in 2010 there was a total of 10 courses in existence, which took two years to develop. The average course length was 45 minutes.  As the only developer in the first 4.5 years of employment, Mohr grew the number of interactive eLearning courses to 274. In 2016, she completely reconstructed the new hire training program, incorporating simulated environments and hands-on activities. She was involved in every step of the development phase, from meeting with SMEs, to writing scripts and recording audio, to the development and approval stages.  The training program was cut in half and 15 minutes became the new maximum course length. After achieving company history  on many occasions, Mohr was promoted to Senior eLearning Developer in 2016.
Mohr isn’t all work though, she loves to volunteer too. In the past, she has volunteered at the Christina House, Miller’s Merry Manor, Orphan Grain Train, Turning Point, and Coburn Place.  Most recently, she has held the role of company team captain for the March of Dimes since 2013.
