As we come out of hibernation mode and frolic into spring, I am focused on reflection. From a professional perspective, I have been catching up on blogs and conducting my own research in preparation for completion of a doctorate degree. I have been doing a lot of reading about experiential learning, which also seems to be an up-and-coming buzz word for some webinars that have crossed my Outlook. So, what does experiential learning mean to you and how do you plan for it in your designs for instruction (online/f2f/mobile/etc)? Let’s have a chat and see what we can learn from each other. I can provide information from a theoretical perspective as well as in practice. But, I’d like to hear from you first. What about experiential learning do you find interesting, challenging, relevant…? What questions do you have and how do you think this impacts us as instructional designers?
Okay… whose first??? 🙂
